Ayton Cleared to Play Friday vs. Clippers, Returns to Starting Five

Deandre Ayton (knee) is not on the injury report and is cleared to play Friday against the Clippers. He missed a pair of games before the All-Star break due to knee soreness but is now expected to return to the starting lineup, bumping Jaxson Hayes to the bench. Ayton's return contributes to the Lakers' anticipated full health and he is expected to join Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves in the lineup, providing a significant boost for the upcoming contest.
