Rasmus Ristolainen Eyed by Red Wings, Stars, Maple Leafs in Trade Rumors

Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Rasmus Ristolainen is a player to watch as the 2026 NHL trade deadline approaches. The right-shot blueliner has been a trade candidate for some time, with interest dependent on his health. Potential landing spots include the Detroit Red Wings, who need a right-shot defenseman with size and have cap space; the Dallas Stars, also seeking a right-shot defenseman; and the Toronto Maple Leafs, who have been previously linked to Ristolainen and need to improve their defensive right side.
