Martin Necas Records Three Points in Czechia's Olympic Overtime Loss

Martin Necas delivered a strong performance for Czechia in their 4-3 overtime loss to Switzerland in Olympic round-robin play Sunday. The Colorado Avalanche forward scored one goal and added two assists, firing seven shots on net. His late regulation goal forced overtime. Necas is now tied for third in the Olympics with five points and is expected to continue leading Czechia's offense alongside David Pastrnak as bracket play begins, with a small chance to lead the tournament in points if Czechia can make a run at the gold medal game.
