Mike Matheson Surprises Pee Wee Team, Contract Details Revealed

Canadiens defenseman Mike Matheson surprised the Lions du Lac St-Louis Pee Wee team at practice, where his jersey was retired in September. Matheson, who turns 32 this month, signed a five-year extension with the Canadiens in November, including a three-year full no-movement clause. He averages nearly 25 minutes of ice time and has recorded 28 points in 54 games, nearing last season's total, proving to be an absolute workhorse on defense.
