Daniel Gafford Exits Game vs. Lakers with Right Ankle Soreness

Dallas Mavericks center Daniel Gafford departed Thursday's game against the Lakers and will not return due to right ankle soreness. He recorded two points (1-2 FG), six rebounds, one assist, and one block in 28 minutes before his exit. Gafford was ruled out late in the fourth quarter. Fortunately, he will have over a week to rest and recover during the All-Star break, with his next opportunity to play scheduled for February 20 in Minnesota.
