D'Angelo Russell Not Reporting to Wizards, Buyout Possible

Washington Wizards' GM Will Darkins stated Sunday that D'Angelo Russell will not be asked to report to the team until they determine "what's best for him and us in our future." This suggests Russell will not be part of the team in D.C. and the situation could lead to a buyout. Russell had previously fallen out of the rotation in Dallas and was a throw-in in the Anthony Davis trade, with little market for the veteran point guard.
