Jose Alvarado Set to Make Knicks Debut Sunday After Trade Finalized

Jose Alvarado, recently acquired by the Knicks from the Pelicans, is not on the injury report and is on track to make his debut with New York on Sunday against the Celtics. The trade, which sent Dalen Terry and two second-round picks to the Pelicans, has been finalized. Alvarado could step into a sizable role immediately, especially if Josh Hart (ankle) is unable to play. With the Pelicans, he averaged 7.9 points, 3.1 assists, 2.8 rebounds, 1.7 threes, and 0.9 steals over 21.9 minutes per game.
