Amen Thompson Cleared But Sits Out Saturday's Game Due to Illness

Houston Rockets guard Amen Thompson, despite being upgraded to available for Saturday's game against the Thunder after being listed as questionable with an illness, ultimately did not play in the 112-106 win. He was a late addition to the injury report and will have until Tuesday's game against the Clippers to recover. Prior to this, Thompson had averaged 13.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 6.4 assists, and 2.8 combined steals-plus-blocks in 35.4 minutes over his last five outings, shooting 42.6 percent from the field.
