Cooper Flagg Central to Mavericks' Future, Fantasy Value Debated

Cooper Flagg is a hot topic for fantasy basketball managers, who are debating whether to retain him or explore trade possibilities, with managers advised to consider his current performance and future potential. The Dallas Mavericks view Flagg as central to their future, having made trades to orient their roster around him, and see strong long-term potential in pairing him with Kyrie Irving. The organization considers Flagg their best passer, with his comfort handling the ball and making early reads validating pre-draft projections. He is envisioned to handle much of the early offense and playmaking duties, allowing Irving to focus on scoring. Flagg is shouldering the Mavericks franchise in the aftermath of Luka Doncic’s trade to L.A. and Anthony Davis’s trade to Washington. Kyrie Irving is embracing a mentor role for Flagg.
