Cunningham Drops 30 Points in Return, Ends Double-Double Streak

Cade Cunningham (wrist) was cleared to play Thursday against the Wizards after being questionable for right wrist injury management. He delivered a strong performance, scoring 30 points (10-21 FG, 10-13 FT) with eight rebounds, eight assists, and one block in 37 minutes during the 126-117 loss to Washington. While he struggled from beyond the arc (0-3 3Pt), this marked his first 30-point game since January 1. His three-game double-double streak concluded, but he showed strong all-around production after previously recording 29 points and 10 assists against the Nuggets.
