Daniel Gafford Available for Spurs Game, Eyeing Top Center Role

Daniel Gafford (ankle) is available for Thursday's game against the Spurs, marking his sixth consecutive appearance despite a right ankle sprain. With Anthony Davis now out of the picture, the 27-year-old Mavericks big man is looking to establish himself as the top center. Over his last five games, Gafford has averaged 9.4 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 1.0 steals in 23.1 minutes, shooting 64.3 percent from the field.
