Jackson Traded to Clippers, Out Friday; Could Compete for Starting Role

Isaiah Jackson has been traded from the Pacers to the Los Angeles Clippers in a major deal. He is ruled out for Friday's game in Sacramento as the trade is pending, with his debut likely Sunday against the Timberwolves. After an inconsistent role with the Pacers, Jackson, who signed a three-year, $21 million deal last summer, could now compete with Brook Lopez for a starting role. He averaged 6.4 points and 5.6 rebounds in 16.8 minutes over 38 games (14 starts) for the Pacers this season.
