Tyus Jones Traded to Mavericks, Adds Playmaking Depth

Tyus Jones has been traded to the Dallas Mavericks from the Charlotte Hornets, who had acquired him from Orlando on Wednesday. The deal sends Malaki Branham to Charlotte. Dallas had reportedly been eyeing Jones, who is expected to add significant playmaking at the guard position, competing for minutes with Ryan Nembhard and Brandon Williams. He could be a speculative fantasy add for those seeking assists and steals, bolstering the Mavs' backcourt depth following the deadline move.
