Chris Paul Traded to Raptors in 3-Team Deal; Sidelined Since Dec.

12-time NBA All-Star Chris Paul has been traded to the Toronto Raptors in a three-way deal involving the Nets and Clippers, with Ochai Agbaji heading to Brooklyn. Paul, who was sent home by the Clippers in December and hasn't played since December 1, is expected to provide backcourt depth and veteran leadership. He will require a ramp-up period and could impact Jamal Shead's minutes. Prior to his shutdown in Los Angeles, Paul averaged 2.9 points and 3.3 assists per game in 16 appearances.
