Flyers GM Briere reaffirms commitment to Matvei Michkov amid development concerns

Flyers GM Danny Briere addressed concerns regarding Matvei Michkov's development and conditioning, stating unequivocally that Michkov is "not going anywhere" and will be a "good player here for a long time." Briere emphasized that the 21-year-old winger's current struggles with scoring and ice time are part of a necessary learning process. Michkov recorded an excellent read and pass for a secondary assist on Owen Tippett's goal, finishing the game with 15:54 minutes after a season-low 10:21 in his previous outing, showing flashes of his potential.
