Jaren Jackson Traded to Jazz, Ruled Out Thursday; Debut Expected Saturday

Jaren Jackson has been acquired by the Utah Jazz in a blockbuster trade, sending Walter Clayton Jr., Kyle Anderson, Taylor Hendricks, Georges Niang, and three future first-round picks to Memphis. The multi-time All-Star and former Defensive Player of the Year was dealing with a quad injury. Jackson, 26, provides a defensive building block for the Jazz. He has been ruled out for Thursday's game against Atlanta as the trade finalizes, with his next chance to play Saturday at Orlando.
