Marvin Bagley Traded to Dallas, Expected to Back Up Gafford

Marvin Bagley has been traded to the Dallas Mavericks as part of the multi-player deal that sent Anthony Davis to Washington. He was packaged with Khris Middleton, AJ Johnson, Malaki Branham, two first-round, and three second-round picks. Bagley, who averaged 10.1 points, 5.7 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 0.7 blocks, and 0.5 steals in 19.2 minutes off the bench for the Wizards, is expected to back up Daniel Gafford in Dallas. This move is not ideal for his fantasy appeal as the team focuses on a rebuild. He is questionable to debut Thursday against the Spurs.
