Khris Middleton Traded to Dallas in Blockbuster Deal, Provides Veteran Presence

Khris Middleton has been traded to the Dallas Mavericks as part of the blockbuster deal that sent Anthony Davis to Washington. Middleton was packaged with AJ Johnson, Malaki Branham, Marvin Bagley, two first-round, and three second-round picks. After being traded from Milwaukee to Washington last year, Middleton, on an expiring $33.3 million contract, now heads to Dallas. He averaged 10.3 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 3.3 assists in 24.3 minutes over 34 games with the Wizards this season. He is not guaranteed a starting role but will provide a veteran presence for the team.
