Garland Traded to Clippers, Coach Lue Eyes Faster Pace

Darius Garland has been traded from the Cavaliers to the Clippers as part of the James Harden deal. Clippers coach Tyronn Lue expects to implement a faster-paced game plan with his new point guard. The 2-time All-Star, 10 years younger than Harden, is seen as a cornerstone for L.A.'s future. Garland averaged 18 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 6.9 assists in 26 games this season, but has been hampered by injuries, including toe surgery and an ankle sprain since Jan. 16.
