Jonathan Drouin Shifts to Center Amid Islanders' Line Overhaul

Islanders left wing Jonathan Drouin shifted to center for the first time this season in Monday's 4-1 loss against the Capitals, skating between Emil Heineman and Simon Holmstrom. This move was part of a drastic change in forward lines following a lethargic effort. Drouin, who has occasionally played center and had a 50.9% faceoff rate prior to Monday, went 4-for-11 on faceoffs in the game. He expressed satisfaction with the position, noting he feels "more free" up the ice.
