Spurs pass on Knicks' trade offer for Jeremy Sochan due to financial terms

Jeremy Sochan's camp was granted permission to explore trade options, with the New York Knicks showing interest in his defense and tenacity. The Knicks offered Guerschon Yabusele and Pacome Dadiet, but the San Antonio Spurs rejected the deal, unwilling to take on Yabusele's $5.78 million player option for next season. Phoenix is also a suitor, but is hesitant to increase its luxury tax bill. Sochan may remain with the Spurs past the trade deadline due to these financial constraints.
