Anthony Cirelli ruled out for Olympics and Lightning games due to injury

Anthony Cirelli (undisclosed injury) has been ruled out for the Tampa Bay Lightning's final two games before the Olympic break and will not participate in the 2026 Winter Olympics. He suffered the injury in Sunday's 6-5 shootout win over Boston after being hit by Mark Kastelic. It remains unclear if he will return after the break. Sam Bennett has been named as his Olympic injury replacement on Team Canada. The Lightning were without Cirelli in their recent game against Buffalo.
