Clay Stevenson Delivers Second Straight Win with 29 Saves for Capitals

Washington Capitals goaltender Clay Stevenson made 29 saves in Monday's 4-1 victory over the New York Islanders, securing his second consecutive win. Pressed into service due to injuries to Logan Thompson and Charlie Lindgren, Stevenson has now won both of his starts since rejoining the Capitals, including his first NHL victory on Saturday. This win pulled the Capitals within two points of the Islanders for a playoff spot, and Stevenson stated he is ready for Tuesday's back-to-back game.
