Shane Wright Ends Scoring Drought with Two Goals in Kraken Victory

Seattle Kraken center Shane Wright scored two goals and added two PIM in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Maple Leafs, ending a 13-game scoring drought where he had been limited to three helpers over his last 12 contests. This marked the second multi-goal game of his career. Wright, the fourth overall pick in the 2022 NHL draft, now has nine goals, 20 points, 79 shots on net, 42 hits, 40 blocked shots, and a plus-2 rating through 53 appearances this season. He scored on a backhand rebound and a wrist shot in the third period.
