Samuel Ersson Exits Game with Lower-Body Injury After Allowing Five Goals
Philadelphia Flyers goaltender Samuel Ersson left Thursday's game against the Bruins due to a lower-body injury and will not return. Prior to his exit, Ersson allowed five goals on 20 shots in two periods. He was slated to start despite recent struggles, having allowed at least three goals in five of his past six outings. This season, Ersson holds an 8-9-5 record with a 3.39 GAA and an .860 save percentage across 23 appearances. Dan Vladar is expected to take over goaltending duties during Ersson's absence.
