Kuemper to Start Against Sabres After Extended Rest Period

Darcy Kuemper will patrol the crease on the road against Buffalo on Thursday. He hasn't played since Saturday, as Monday's game against the Blue Jackets was postponed, providing the veteran backstop with ample rest. This rest could be beneficial given his recent struggles, which include a 1-2-3 record and a 3.56 GAA over his last seven outings.
