Askarov Starts Against Oilers, Making Consecutive Appearances

Yaroslav Askarov will be in goal on the road against Edmonton on Thursday, marking his first consecutive appearances since early January. The 23-year-old backstop holds a 2-3-0 record with a 3.43 GAA in his last five outings. This decision is noteworthy given that teammate Alex Nedeljkovic is currently on a five-game winning streak.
