Brunson Plays Through Illness, Scores 13 Points Amidst Defensive Fit Scrutiny

New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson played through an illness in Wednesday's 119-92 win over the Raptors, contributing 13 points (5-13 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 3-3 FT), 1 rebound, 4 assists, and 1 block in 30 minutes. He was available despite a questionable tag earlier due to the illness. Brunson, who averaged 25.3 points, 5.3 assists, and 3.0 rebounds in his last four games, continues to face scrutiny regarding his defensive fit with the Knicks, aligning with a defensively deficient archetype that raises long-term strategy questions for the team.
