Towns Grabs Season-High 22 Rebounds Amidst Shooting Slump, Trade Rumors

Karl-Anthony Towns contributed 8 points (3-11 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 22 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 block in 35 minutes during Wednesday's 119-92 victory over Toronto. Despite a two-game shooting slump (30.8% FG), he set a new season high in rebounds. Towns has also been linked to a potential trade for the New York Knicks, though reports suggest such a move might not resolve underlying team-building concerns. He anticipates a favorable matchup Friday against the Trail Blazers to break his shooting funk.
