Matthews' Go-Ahead Goal Leads to Luukkonen Injury in Leafs Game

Auston Matthews scored a go-ahead goal during Tuesday's game against the Buffalo Sabres, a play that unfortunately led to an injury for Sabres netminder Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen. Luukkonen appeared to injure his left leg on Matthews' goal and subsequently left the game in the first period, replaced by Colten Ellis. It was later confirmed that Luukkonen would not return to the game. Matthews' goal was one of two allowed by Luukkonen before his exit.
