Wild Recall Matt Kiersted from AHL Iowa Due to Injuries

The Minnesota Wild recalled defenseman Matt Kiersted from AHL Iowa on Tuesday, ahead of their game against the Chicago Blackhawks. This roster move was prompted by Zach Bogosian's ongoing injury. Defensive prospect David Spacek was sent down to the AHL to ensure he continues to play games, with the veteran Kiersted now serving as the extra defenseman on the Wild roster.
