Lankinen to Start Tuesday, Expected to Carry Load After Demko Injury

Vancouver Canucks goaltender Kevin Lankinen will start in net Tuesday against San Jose. Lankinen has a 7-16-4 record this season with a 3.44 GAA and .884 save percentage through 28 appearances, losing his last two outings while allowing eight goals on 49 shots. With Thatcher Demko (hip) undergoing season-ending surgery, Lankinen is now expected to serve as the primary option and receive plenty of starts for the remainder of the 2025-26 campaign.
