Robert Williams III Returns to Boston, Makes Impact Against Former Team

Portland Trail Blazers center Robert Williams III made his first on-court return to TD Garden since being traded to Portland for Jrue Holiday in 2023. Williams, who expressed mixed emotions about his former team winning the 2024 NBA title, made life tough for the Celtics inside, altering shots and playing a free safety role. He also dunked an alley-oop to start the fourth quarter, though the Blazers ultimately lost 102-94 to Boston.
