Blackhawks Reassign Top Prospect Nick Lardis to AHL Rockford

The Chicago Blackhawks have assigned forward Nick Lardis, a top prospect, to the AHL's Rockford IceHogs. The 20-year-old, who recorded 5 goals and 2 assists in 21 NHL games after his December 13 debut, returns to the minors for more minutes in a larger role as the Blackhawks' lineup gets healthier. Lardis, an AHL All-Star, will represent the IceHogs at the event hosted in Rockford during the upcoming NHL Olympic break.
