Bridges Struggles Defensively, Sees Reduced Late-Game Role

Mikal Bridges (New York Knicks) has struggled in his point-of-attack defensive role, allowing opponents to break down the defense. He was not on the floor during crunch time in the Knicks' win over the 76ers, where he shot just 3-for-16 from the field. Coach Mike Brown indicated Bridges has been miscast in this defensive assignment since his acquisition, leading to others taking on key defensive minutes.
