Mackenzie Blackwood Starts Sunday vs. Leafs Amidst Recent Struggles

Mackenzie Blackwood will start Sunday's game for the Colorado Avalanche against the Maple Leafs, as reported by Evan Rawal of the Denver Gazette. With Scott Wedgewood addressing a personal issue, Blackwood has become Colorado's undisputed number one goaltender and will make his second consecutive start. The 29-year-old has recently struggled, carrying a personal two-game losing streak where he allowed 11 goals on 47 shots. The Maple Leafs are playing the second half of a back-to-back and have lost their last three games.
