John Gibson Starts Against Jets, Aims for Eighth Straight Win

John Gibson is confirmed to start in goal for the Detroit Red Wings on Saturday against the Winnipeg Jets. The 32-year-old netminder is looking to extend his impressive winning streak to eight consecutive games. Over his last seven outings, Gibson has posted a stellar 1.83 GAA and a .934 save percentage, including one shutout. He faces a Jets team that has struggled offensively, scoring just seven goals in their last four games, going 1-2-1 in that span.
