Alexandre Carrier Leads NHL in Blocked Shots, Expected to Excel vs. Bruins

Montreal Canadiens defenseman Alexandre Carrier has blocked more shots than any other player since January 7, recording 27 blocks in his last nine games, along with four goals. He ranks just ahead of teammate Noah Dobson despite playing fewer minutes. Carrier is a key player on the penalty kill, trailing only Mike Matheson in shorthanded ice time, and is anticipated to have another strong performance in blocked shots against the Boston Bruins' fourth-ranked power play.
