Cooley Stops 35 Shots in Flames' 3-1 Loss to Capitals

Devin Cooley started Friday's home game against the Washington Capitals, stopping 35 shots in the Calgary Flames' 3-1 loss. This start continued the timeshare between netminders. Prior to this game, Cooley had been performing well in his last three starts, posting a 2-0-1 record with an impressive 1.33 GAA and a .952 save percentage. He denied a lacrosse-style wraparound attempt in the third period, but allowed goals to Protas and Lapierre.
