Rockets reportedly show interest in Pelicans guard Jose Alvarado

The Houston Rockets are reportedly showing interest in New Orleans Pelicans point guard Jose Alvarado, as they seek to bolster their backcourt. Alvarado, known as a defensive pest and an infectious spark off the bench, is considered a realistic trade target given his $4.5 million player option next season and current $4.5 million salary. In 22 minutes of action, he averages 7.9 points, 3.3 assists, 2.8 rebounds, and one steal, with shooting splits of 42.4% from the field, 36.1% from three (on 4.4 attempts), and 82.6% from the foul line. The New York Knicks are also reportedly interested in his services.
