Ekman-Larsson Cleared to Play Friday After Lower-Body Injury

Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman Oliver Ekman-Larsson (lower body) will return to the lineup Friday against Vegas. Despite leaving Wednesday's game early and initial concerns of a longer absence, he showed significant improvement and practiced Friday. This season, Ekman-Larsson has recorded eight goals, 23 assists, 62 hits, 41 blocked shots, and 72 shots on goal across 50 games, making his quick return a boost for the team.
