Scott Laughton Scores, Misses Penalty Shot in Maple Leafs' OT Loss

Toronto Maple Leafs forward Scott Laughton scored his seventh goal of the season, Toronto's only tally, in a 2-1 overtime loss to the Detroit Red Wings. However, he also failed a penalty shot attempt in the second period, mishandling the puck. Laughton's line, with Steven Lorentz and Calle Jarnkrok, posted a 66.49% expected goals-for at five-on-five. He now has nine points in 32 games this season.
