Davion Mitchell Ruled Out for Thursday's Game with Left Shoulder Bruise

Miami Heat point guard Davion Mitchell has been officially ruled out for Thursday's game against the Portland Trail Blazers due to a left shoulder bruise. Mitchell was initially a late addition to the injury report, then downgraded from questionable to doubtful, and finally ruled out hours before tipoff. This injury will prevent him from playing. Rookie first-rounder Kasparas Jakucionis is a candidate to draw the spot start at point guard, while Dru Smith would likely rejoin the Miami rotation to take on a backup role in Mitchell's absence.
