Cedric Coward Shines with 17 Points, Rookie of the Year Buzz Grows

Cedric Coward delivered 17 points (7-15 FG, 3-5 3Pt), 7 rebounds, 1 block, and 2 steals in 26 minutes during Wednesday's 124-122 loss to the Hawks. The Memphis Grizzlies rookie also hit a clutch triple and played strong defense, limiting Nickeil Alexander-Walker to 11 points. This performance further solidifies his standing as an overlooked Rookie of the Year contender, closely trailing VJ Edgecombe for the third spot and considered a strong candidate for the All-Rookie first team.
