Bennedict Mathurin Out for Wednesday with Thumb Sprain; Return Expected Soon

Indiana Pacers swingman Bennedict Mathurin is out for Wednesday's game against the Celtics due to a right thumb sprain. The Pacers are hopeful he will return at some point during their current road trip, which concludes Monday in Atlanta. Mathurin's next opportunity to make his first appearance since January 2 is Friday's showdown against the Thunder. In his absence, Johnny Furphy is expected to continue starting.
