76ers Rookie VJ Edgecombe Throws Down Poster Dunk, Rules Out Contest

76ers rookie VJ Edgecombe electrified the crowd with a highlight-reel, Dr. J-esque poster dunk over Pacers center Tony Bradley during Monday's game. The No. 3 overall pick out of Baylor scored 11 points in the win, adding to a season where he's already recorded 34 points in his debut and 10+ games with 20+ points. Despite the impressive display of athleticism, Edgecombe has stated he will not participate in the upcoming dunk contest, though he joked about dunking on Joel Embiid in practice.
