Ehlers Nets Hat Trick, Adds Assist in Hurricanes' Dominant 9-1 Rout

Nikolaj Ehlers recorded his sixth career hat trick and first with the Carolina Hurricanes, adding an assist in their dominant 9-1 victory over the Florida Panthers. Ehlers scored the first goal off a no-look pass by Jordan Staal, then added two power-play tallies in the third period. Playing on a line with Staal and Martinook for the first time, Ehlers expressed anticipation for the space it would create.
