Ottawa Senators goaltender Leevi Merilainen stopped 13 shots in Saturday's 6-5 overtime loss to the Montreal Canadiens, allowing three straight goals late in the third and in overtime. He was confirmed to start the home game against high-scoring Montreal. Despite winning his last two games, he had allowed five goals on 42 shots.
