Murphy Sinks Five Treys, Continues Hot January Scoring Streak

Trey Murphy contributed 22 points (7-21 FG, 5-14 3Pt, 3-4 FT), five assists, four rebounds, one block, and one steal in 38 minutes during the Pelicans' 127-119 loss to Indiana. Despite efficiency struggles, Murphy was New Orleans' second-leading scorer and led all players with five three-pointers. The 25-year-old swingman has scored at least 21 points in all seven January appearances, hitting five-plus triples in five of those games, and is shooting 41.1% from deep this month.
