Carrier Snaps Goal Drought with Two-Goal Performance in Win

Alexandre Carrier scored two goals in Monday's 6-3 win over the Canucks, with the tallies coming 20 seconds apart in the second period. This surprising performance snapped a 43-game goal drought for the Montreal Canadiens blueliner, whose only other goal on the season came on Oct. 9. Through 46 games, Carrier has produced 14 points, 100 blocked shots, 33 shots on net, 20 hits, 20 PIM, and a minus-3 rating, as he isn't primarily known for offense.
